Q : 大平選手を見飽きたことはありますか？
Neto : ないですね。彼は注目すべき、そしてお手本となるべき素晴らしい選手です。私も面倒を見てもらっています。そんな人について行きたくない人なんていないでしょう？
Q : 大谷翔平というメンター. 彼があなたに教えてくれた最大の教訓は何でしょうか？
Neto : 彼は、「なるにまかせて、ただ自分らしくいたらいい」と言ってくれました。彼は、頭を落ち着かせ、あまり考えすぎず、ただバッターボックスに入ること、クリアな心でフィールドに出ていくこと、ただここに導かれた人でいること、とたくさん話してくれました。だから、毎日、彼に「今までありがとう」と伝えています。彼は私に最高のものを望んでいます。私が彼に最善を尽くしたいのと同じように。
Q : Do you ever get tired of watching Shohei Ohtani ?
Neto : I Do not.He is an awsome ballplayer to watch and role model. He is kind of taking me under his wing. Who would not want to follow a guy like that ?
Q : A mentor in Shohei Ohtani.What is the biggest lesson he has taughat you ?
Neto : He's told me just let everything go, just be myself. He has talked to me a lot about just kind of calming my head, not thinking about too much and just going into the box are going out there on the field with a clear mind and just being the person that got me here. So I tell him everyday, thank you for everything.He want the best for me just like I want the best for him.
